Pecos Depot Pecos is a town southwest of Odessa, 75 miles down Interstate-20. Some years ago, somebody hauled the abandoned train depot to Odessa and turned it into a bar associated with a popular steakhouse known as The Barn Door. The Pecos Depot has been a local landmark ever since.

This old photo of the depot in its former life as a train station hangs in a prominent place.
Close inspection of the two pictures reveal hints to some of the changes that have been made to the building in its metamorphoses.

We don't know the story of this old bar, but it is known to be an antique.
